Here is what one student, a Muslim, from the Middle East thinks of Discovering Christianity Group..

Bible study group discussions: to some this might be boring or not interesting. For me it was learning more about a book that I respect and that I wanted to know more about. I always had interest in Bible and I always had one close to me, but I never opened it and read until I joined the Bible group and it was an interesting experience for me.

Here are the thoughts of another student who attends the group, he is from East Asia.

The group was organised for people who want to know more about God and though I have always wanted to know more since my mum was once a Christian and I’m interested to know more. The group was done in an informal way where we discuss about the Bible so its good and it relaxes me thus allowing me to take in more easily. The convenience of having it in Sugarwell allows me to spend the maximum amount of time to learn. Our leader/mentor Matt, sometimes uses interesting ways to discuss more about God, most recent being a DVD on God’s existence. Thus far I learnt a lot and after our study group I usually go to church with Matt to learn more.
