If you are miles away from your home country, finding new friends and a warm greeting is like finding a second home. In Global Café I meet many British students and many international students from various countries and different cultures – it’s great being here!!! You can find friends, practice English and most important thing play !!!! Enjoy this life because my motto is learn hard – play hard!!

For me the Global Café is a ‘home away from home’. The kind of warm friendly atmosphere we have here is far better than I ever expected. Global Café is the medium through which I have come to make good friends. I have got to know a lot more about British culture. This place also services as a platform for International students to interact and learn more about each other. I really love being at global café.

The Global Café is a really amazing thing. It brings us international students together and gives us a great chance to get to know each other, to discover our cultures more deeply and to know more about British culture. Its’ particularly great to get to know people, when you don’t know anybody and experience culture shock. Global café is great, awesome, cool, fantastic.

Our countries don’t get along with each other normally ( Holland and Belgium) but we found each other and a great friendship. Global Café is an original way to meet other international students, we’re having a great time here.

The Global Café was a place where I felt at home. The organisers there were nice and helpful. I have met some friends there with which I’ll probably have contact for the rest of my life. This is especially good for international students who have just arrived in the UK and are having a hard time making friends with English people. Looking back, I wouldn’t want to miss it!
